  1. Altogether you will need an amp that puts out 2000w rms.

The 1000w amp you have right now probably puts out 300rms mostly because it is Legacy and that is the worst amp you could buy, my friend bought a 600w legacy amp and blew it while powering a 10" pioneer from walmart...not even joking.

As the 1st person said, if you don't get atleast a 2000w amp you will blow it, which is NOT true. You can underpower your sub it just won't be as loud as it could be, but it is not recommended to underpower them by a lot.

You will need a big amp, I assume you can run your subs at 3ohm together, not too sure on that, but if you want the most power out of your amp, go for the lowest ohms possible, but make sure your amp is stable at the ohm you choose, but be warned, the lower the ohm, the harder your amp has to work and more heat it builds up so it could shorten the life of it.

  2. you need to find out the ohm rating your amp can handle. for examle in the wiring confiq. is it 2 or 4 ohm stable. some amps go down to1. but they are high end amp. the type of subs you are using have some unique ohm rating. if they arent wired corrected this will burn your amp up quick

  3. The sub parameters are fake and you need better amp. This sub cannot have this sensitivity (for bass) and the amp is not able to give enaugh of power. You'd know that everything over 1000Watts is insane (if you don't "play" DBdrag) because you can make much louder sound with good and sensitive speaker with good box and setup.

The high quality subs marked with 800Watts of power have 5" voice coil because of high power which makes the coil heating or burn if small. Your speaker really is not able to handle 1000W of power  with 3" voicecoil.

  4. wow thats insane, your going to need a amp that is AT LEAST 2000 watts rms or else your burn your current amp.
