  1. yes if you turn it up to high... turn the power output down some and you'll be alright

  2. its possible, but more than likely (if you set your amp correctly) the amp will not damage your subwoofer because its not alot of watts over the rated requirement on the sub.

what i would recommend you to do is never have any setting on the amp to MAX. also, never have the gain/level higher than 3/4. preferably, the gain should be set to the amount of volts your stereo gives through the RCA's.

this will give your subwoofer a distorted signal which will mess your subwoofer. its capable of burning and melting the voice coils, depending on the amount of time played.

also, check your settings on the stereo. again, dont have any settings of the lower-end frequency range too high.

  3. You should not exceed the RMS by 10% which in this case would be 440 max, you probably won't ever have it at or above that level, but to be sure you can just adjust your gain so that it won't exceed the RMS and you will be fine.

  4. Yes it can happen as longas the gain isnt turned up all the way, i would set the gain about 3/4 s full...so ur roughly getting about 390-400 RMS

  5. yes and no.... if its clean power no distortion, and the box is alittle smaller than the specs recommend sealed. you will be fine. but if you go with the max rec. sealed box then you will have to turn the amp gain down you will be fine.
