  1. you need to find either a dc or ac converter  im cant remeber which one  but i know it is what ever the opposite of the amp is you will ned to run a wire from your power on your amp to your remote so it turns on  and rune the negeative and the positive to  on the conver to the  correct spots on the amp then jsut hook ypou subs up and run your rca's and your should be good to go if you try this with a regualr power cord you will flip your breaker in your house most likly i know about this i have done this multiple times in my own house and its great

  2. Easiest? dont do it car amps are just trick once you take them out of cars. Without an ignition key to tell your amp to turn on things obviously ont work

  3. OR you could just find an old power supply from a computer like 300 to 400 watts is pretty standard in a computer. But if you don't have a 12 volt power supply and you have an old computer or know someone that is getting rid of one, or go to a garage sale or criagslist you can find an old computer cheap. take the power supply and if you look at the wires that come out of it pretty basic they are labeled  in small print you can use that to power the amp then just hook up your sub out on your receiver to  the amp. Hook up your sub and adjust to movies you watch. It works but if your trying to hook up a 1000 watt mono that might be a little much for it. You can probably get enought bump out of a 250 or maybe a 500 watt amp and be ok with a power supply out of a pc unless you have monster 600 or 700 watt one. If you want to know more hit me up and I can give you some specs so you don't burn anything up.

  4. You would either need a car battery or a car charger with enough power to keep the amp on. It can be done by other means but all I can think of at the moment would be tearing apart a few cords but to keep it simple use a car battery and keep it charged. you might run into problems with the rca's and remote but just run a small wire off of the battery + to where your remote should hook up and it will turn on, when you remove the wire it will turn off. This should satisfy your immediate need for bass but it will not put out the highs that you will want for your surround sound system but it will work. just hook up the rca or "audio out" on your  dvd player and you will get sound. btw. you will have to charge the batt often and it will be a pain in your butt. you might as well get a cheap house amp and hook it up to your subs????

  5. i dont know

  6. You're going to spend some $$$ for a power supply.

Just to give you an idea....

A 13.8 volt DC 25 ampere bench-top power supply will run a total of a 350 watt RMS system at the cost of $100.

Batteries emit toxic/flammable fumes, bad idea.

  7. with wires and siht.

  8. a power inverter for starters

  9. thats dumb and a radio just works fine but yeah get lots of wire

  10. nobody wants to hear your stupid music.

  11. i like the first answer. but ul need a 12v output adapter.. then all u need to do is hook the positive to remote + 12V+ and then the amps ground to your a**s and there u have it.

however. for watching movies u want a 8" woofer or smaller unless ur in a huge *** room.. a whopping 12" on a monoblock amp isnt gunna be too gorgeous to watch movies with since all theyre really good at is going DOOF DOOF.

    hope that helps =p
