  1. a box being 3 dimensional is calculated in cubic feet....i don't know what you mean by you want feet...not cubic feet...?

the cubic feet is the intrenal measurement of the net air space. this does not include the volume inside the port or the walls that make up the port.

trust me, with a stroker, you will need it ported. tuning it to 40Hz is pretty high....i'd shoot for something in the low 30's....32 would be good, but this will increase the port length and in turn make the box larger.

measure the height, width, and depth of the room your willing to give up in you car. if you measure something like 36L x 15T x 20D....then you can fit a 6.25cu'...this is an external max dimensions you have to work with.

    to find cu' = (H"xW"xD") / 1728

you box should be made of 3/4" mdf....if you box is 20" long on the oiutside, it will be 18.5" on the inside (.75x2 = 1.5....20-1.5 = 18.5" long internally) all dimensions should be figured like this to give you the internal cu'.

i design boxes. if you want me to do it for you and get you a list of materials and a cut sheet, i can do that.
