Subwoofer connnection to Harmon/Kardon Reciever AVR 146?....?

I just bought a brand new subwoofer which is named the Sony SA-W2500 100-Watt Performance Line Subwoofer and i wanted to know if i needed a monster cable to connect it to my reciever or do i not a site for this information is:

  1. if its for a car then yes but a home theater or sound steario then no


  2. Yes, you need to buy a line level input cable (also known as anRCA or subwoofer cable).

    Monster makes the best cables IMO.

    They are directional so make sure you install with the arrows in the correct direction for the best sound quality.

    Your sub also has speaker level inputs (for speaker wire) you can ignore those.

    One cable from the (purple) sub out to the (black) input on your sub and that's it!

  3. you can use the cheapest composite cable(a/v cable) you can find.
