  1. Personally I have 2 12 inch sub woofers in a enclosed box with the magnets facing into the box. The bass hits great.

  2. Inverting the sub changes the internal volume space of the box which may or may not have desired results.

It's best to have the box designed to the subs if you invert them.

  3. It depends on how the box is designed. My custom box is setup for one each way.

  4. a reversed sub form is advised unless  you have 2 subs this is called isobaric(front to front) with this what you have is one sub woofer facing inward towards another sub which has the magnet in the box so the to subs are facing each other which cancels out even order distortion from the  subs and will sound better and also lowers the sensitivity by 3 db's. seems as if its more power then having a regular dual box. I've done this before and i was surprised how it turned out to work just as i  thought it would it sound it almost twice as loud as when it's was in a dual box. and the frequency response  was excellent.

  5. it depends on the quality of the box and sub

  6. it will sound best normal but if you want try it it wont hurt to try
