  1. the sub enclosure makes the sub. get a quality one that will meet the specs of the sub. stay away from the pre-fab internet boxes (qlogic, cheap ebay boxes....)

if your in the slightest bit handy they are quite easy to make.

if you need help, i can design or even make one for you.

  2. You will need a box.

  3. you dont really need a box but its better to have one...i have buddies that just put their subs in the slots were the back speakers were they cut it to make it fit the subs but subwoofers usually sound better in a box with no holes but hey try it out tell me how it is......!

  4. I'd suggest a quality enclosure, and an amplifier that matches the RMS wattage of the sub...

  5. Get an enclosure for the sub, and one of good quality. And be sure it will fit in the trunk nicely. And if youre only putting a sub, be sure to get a 1-channel, mono amplifier that will match or exceed the sub RMS rating. An amplifier will less rating than the sub will burn up your amplifier.
