Subwoofer turned off?

Question

I have a MTX Thunder 942 hooked up to a 15'' MTX 7500 with a 8 gauge wire. The subwoofer shut off and now it doesnt turn on. The amp still has the light on though.

First  i would check the amp for an overload light. Then check your wire connections from the amp to the box. Then check the wires inside the box. If that doesnt work it could be your rca wires either went bad or came unhooked behind the radio or the sub is blown.

.If the amp is still on and all your light are correct your sub is definitely blown.
