I have 2 speakers in the dash (left and right)

and 1 in each door

and a subwoofer behind the seat.

Everything is hooked up to an amp

the subwoofer works perfectly

but the other speakers dont make any sound.

What could be the problem?

  1. You should run the speakers directly off the deck.. or at least a different amp...

Did you wire it all up in a series?.. or do you have..like a 9 channel amp?

I'm guessing your 'sub out' RCA wires from the deck are the only inputs into that amp? Therefore you're trying to send rediculous amounts of frequency back to all the speakers.. spread out equally..?.. or something?..

    I also am confused.

Run your speakers off the deck (cd player) and run the sub with the amp... and if the speakers still don't work your deck is fried.. leaving only the sub out in working condition.

  2. well it depend on what kind f amp you have to other speakers hooked up to but to be honest you have not given me enough information to help you
