Subwoofers and amps for car.?

Question

I have never upgraded any car audio stereo before but i plan on getting this stuff and get this going soon. I was wondering what are top of the line subs that will really push the bass. I dont know really how amps work but i know i need them and dont know what to buy for that.

Im looking to buy two 15" subs with whatever amps i need.I think ill be able to spend $2,000 or $3,000 tops. And i really want the base to kick.

If your wanting to spend up to $2,000 get 2 15" Kicker L7s (Get the 4 ohm versions) and get a Boss Audio BLX5000. Wire the subs at 1 Ohm and that should put about 1800 watts to each sub. You'll also need 1/0 gauge power/ground wire and at least 8 gauge speaker wire, a box with plenty of airspace, and a 4 Farad Capacitor ( or an extra battery.) All that should be less than $2,000 but probably not by much.
