  1. maybe its your gain set to high. also check where your lp is crossed at. Im guessing its pushing only about 100w rms to each speaker.

  2. The difference between subs can be very noticeable.  Some subs are much more efficient then others and will play much louder on the same amount of power.  Your box may be the wrong size for the subs.  If you're wanting to be loud, you should have a properly ported enclosure.  Are you bridging the 2 channel amp?  Make sure you are.  Running subs in stereo can make them sound like c**p.  Also, make sure you have them wired properly.  Make sure nothing is out of phase.

  3. u might wanna check the rms rating for those c12's i think they are only 150rms u may be over powering them.

  4. if you have the comp 8 ohm SVC subs the you need to wire them parallel to the amp bridged. if not then you have the 4 OHm svc subs and that means you will have to wire the subs parallel to the amp each on its own channel and in that case you will only be getting the power that amp is rated at from 4 ohm each channel. and this should be the size of each chamber or subs are in i really didnt understand what you ment by the size you gave.

Sealed Box Volume 1.25 - 3.5  cubic feet

Ported Box Volume 1.75 - 2.25  cubic feet

if you have the 4 ohm svc subs you might want to switch to a mono amp
