Successes and failures of George Bush (current president)?

Question

I am just wondering if anybody knows some major successes and failures of our president. I haven't been up to date on the news, but some links proving either would be helpful. I know that obviously a failure would be that we went to war with assumption that the enemy had weapons of mass destruction but none were found, ect... Any more? I'm curious to see which one outweighs which.

success: he put more men than ever in the Army (excluding the World Wars)

failure: "Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be SOMEWHERE."

success: he takes good care of his health

failure: ''I'm the commander — see, I don't need to explain — I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president.''

There are some strange ones, like for example it's been seven years, and no one has blown up any more buildings in the US, so that should count for something... though at a cost of our personal liberties and  Billions upon hundreds of billions of dollars in debt...

Two that our president has done well which greatly affect me are he got a bill passed that ALL military personnel can put student loans on forbearance while in the military.. and the other was raising the base pay this year. He gets alot of benefits passed through congress for the military personnel. But the media fails to report alot of this b/c failures get better ratings.

There are alot of haters on here who have no clue as to what our president does. Maybe yall should do some research and actually see what our President actually does, you may be surprised; and stop watching the media, they feed you hate and yall buy right into it. You can hate all you want.... but you can't explain your ignorance.

To many failures to really list.

Really the lesson is money can buy you anything.

Top failures would include:

# The inability to admit that global warming is fact.

# Really crazy foreign policy - including-going to war claiming 'self defence' , which was complete and utter c**p and which could land him in a lot of legal hot water in the future. etc etc

#mixing is faith into policy making - e.g abortion, foreign policy, g*y marriage, education, armed forces..etc etc

Major Success:  We have not had another 911 style terrorist attack on U.S. soil since he has been in office.

Major Failure:  He has not prepared our country for the energy crisis.

All in all, he is the best president we have had since George Senior

Successes, mmm... that's a tough one. Failures! How much time do you have?  A start would be... Iraq, Katrina, resistance to global warming, resistance to stem cell research, spending, appointing cronies, attempting to appoint crony judges, Rumsfeld, Calling other governments evil (even if they are, it stupid).
