Such thing as too proud?

Question

So i broke up with my ex but before he said I was too proud?? Can someone please explain this? I've never been called this or heard of being "too proud of a person"??

he said i never want to say sorry or apologize when he makes me apologize for things like forgetting my shorts to go to play soccer?

He asked me out again and I said no b.c he hurt me....does that make me too proud to take him back? i donno im confused.

Just start being a smart A*# and say sorry for breathing wrong or sorry for blinking...that will show him!

I would tell you but I think your too proud. JK! Who knows what that guy was thinking when he told you that. I'm betting it was just the best he could come up with at the time. He's probobly still trying to figure it out himself. I looked at your picture and you don't look too proud to me. More like just right proud.

It seems to me like you make no compromises in your relationship and always prefer to remain stubborn.  However I don't understand whats there to apologize if you forget your shorts to go to play soccer. I presume your wise enough not to go naked or play football in your undergarments...

You rejected his proposal because you prefer to be stubborn and not to loose face in front of him. But I do need to warn you that this attitude can always get you into trouble, especially in your future relationships.  You will have to change your attitude a little and become more jovial.

He is telling you that, you think you are to good for him and that is why you don't have to apologize to him. By the way, can't he check his own gear before he leaves the house. Are you his mother of gf ? I would not go out with that @ss Hole, specially after he treated you like dirt because he left his shorts behind. Louse the creep, you deserve better than that and thank God you found out now before you spent allot of time with him and would be harder to break it off later.
