  1. From one balloon, don't worry ... just don't make a habit of it and never go on a helium sucking binge ... people have died from overdosing on huge amounts of it.

  2. Helium isn't toxic and doesn't build up in your body.  Very little even gets into your bloodstream (which is why deep-ocean divers breath helium/oxygen mixtures).  The main danger from breathing helium is that you can lower your blood oxygen levels enough to black out.  If you are standing, you can fall and hit your head, which can actually be fairly serious if you catch the edge of a fireplace or table.

  3. if your awake enough to type, your fine.

the danger or inhailing helium is the displacement of the oxygen you need, in other words, the helium pushes out the ocygen and you pass out,

I beleave many suppliers of party helium acualy add O2 to there helium to avoid this, but you cant be sure, so its still risky

  4. Sorry honey, that wasn't helium you were sucking...

  5. just make sure it is helium , helium by itself isn't bad especally if it is mixed with oxygen (breathe in some air before the helium), that is what they do for scuba divers tanks (instead of having nitrogen/oxygen mixture a helium/oxygen mixture will help prevent the severity of the bends on long dives)

I have heard that some companies have not always used pure helium, or helium/oxygen mixture but have added other hazardous gasses into it and some people who thought they were inhaling helium died from the other gasses -- though I am not really sure if those reports are entirely true (but you need to read the ingredients list to make sure)

  6. no...i do it all the time...just don't do it too often. apparently its dangerous if you take too much.

  7. No dear nothing will happen, continue with your daily routine... There is no need to worry...
