  1. Well I do it when needed. My daughter is 2 mo and every morning it seems she's crying from her nose being stuffy. I try to get it out 3 times and if I can't get it out I put saline drops in her nose, run hot water in the sink to cause steam&close the door and keep it running while I am taking her a bath. She loves baths so that relaxes her. After the bath I clean out the buggers. Also I use a cool humidifier, but it hasn't seemed to help, so I am considering getting a warm one that I can run vicks in

  2. Try not to do it more than 4 or 5 times a day. It can get irritated and sore...just like your nose does when you have a cold, and blow it often. To help loosen up the gunk up there, try using some natural baby saline drops. It's only salty water...but made for babies. GL!

  3. If he is too stuffy to feed then you suck it out!  If they can still feed then you can leave it alone, and you can get some nasal drops,(salene solution)  over the counter at the pharmacy.  If he is really stuffy it might be a better option!  Best of luck!
