New Jersey citizen loses car for a week. How do you like this one? Guy crosses the border into Canada for the weekend and proceeds to do 100 mph in a 60 zone. The cops in Ontario took his car under their new 'street racing law'. They get to keep his car for at least a week! Did he deserve this? What would you do?

He deserved it and more.  If you drive 100mph in my area you will lose your vehicle also, although probably not for a week.

Was he actually racing with someone else? If not he may have a case.As far as the taking away of the car just for speeding-that's excessive. Just a normal ticket should do.I have been on a lot of roads that 100 mph is perfectly reasonable on.We have tons of them here in Nevada.

The guy in Canada has the stolen car from New Jersey and started speeding and had the police take it from him.
