  1. SUDAFED

How is Eustachian tube blockage treated?

There are several maneuvers that can be done to improve Eustachian tube function. The simple act of swallowing activates the muscles in the back of the throat which help open the Eustachian tube. Chewing gum, drinking, or eating promotes swallowing. Yawning is even better because it is a stronger muscle activator. If the ears still feel full, you can try to forcibly open the Eustachian tube by taking a deep breath and blowing while pinching your nostrils and closing your mouth. When you feel a pop, you know you have succeeded. If problems persist despite trying to forcibly open the tubes, you may need to seek medical attention. If you feel dizzy performing this maneuver, then stop and discuss this with your doctor

You want to decongest your sinuses/ears and benadryl cannot do that.  Benardyl can ease a runny nose but it is not a decongestant.  If you're looking for something to treat a runny allergic nose, then it would be better to use Clariton.  Less side effects like drowsiness.  But if your nose isn't running then don't use an antihistamine like Benadryl.

  2. depends

sudafed may give you energy so dont take that before bed

and benedryl makes you sleepy so dont take that in the morning

  3. Benedryl & Mucinex (drink lots of water with it).

    Put warm compress over ear.

    Take 2 Advil or Aleve

    Feel better.

  4. Benadryl all the way. Call in sick to work, or get your parents to write you a pass out of class. When you're sick, you need to make sure that you are rested and that you get better. Take two Benadryl and call it a day. Then, and this is just something that I do to relieve me of some of my worst allergy symptoms, it spicy food, preferably Thai curry.
