Sudden surge of mosquitoes in my room!!?

Over the past few days, my room has been having some mosquitoe problems and I have no idea why!

While sitting at my desk a few days ago I kept squishing mosquitoes. Funny enough, they would basically line up, one after another on my desk only to meet their demise via my index card. Anyway, I thought it was funny at first but it's been several days now and they just keep coming.

As I am typing this very post, one is buzzing around my laptop keyboard annoying the c**p out of me. I need to know what is up! Why is there a such a sudden surge of mosquitoes in my room, I haven't done anything different these past few days. What the c**p can be causing this. I tend to keep my room neat and tidy... I am not sure whats going on, and if I were to ask anyone face to face, they would probably just laugh at me.

The funny thing is, I have no mosquitoe bites at all.. I am so confused.

  1. First are they mosquitoes.  They should be landing on you not on your desk.  They are attracted to carbon dioxide in our breath and to the warmth of our bodies.  There are many mosquito like insects that could be attracted to you or to the light or heat in your room.  Has someone recently left the window open,  Have you had a change from winter cold to spring warmth, that brings a lot of insect, including mosquitoes out.

  2. Is there a hole in the screens of your house anywhere? What a pain that must be! They will get in any little places they can find.

  3. Raid and duct tape, all you gotta do is duct tape the hole and then spray the raid all around it.  The hard part is finding the hole........good luck buddy.
