Question:

Suddenly too tired to work out? help!?

I've been biking and doing cardio for about an hour an a half (total) each day and seeing great results. Have kept it up daily for 6 weeks. Today for some reason I felt WAY too tired (physically) and couldn't do more than 40 minutes. Is my body trying to tell me something? I had plenty of sleep, but I ate a few mor ecarbs than usual...

  1. I had that problem. Do this Take like 2 days off from working out and get full nights sleep and nap then after 2 days get back at it.

    Yes, your body is giving you a natural signal. Go get some rest. Remember...You should have a rest day in between your routine. I m not into biking, but I jog regularly. What I did is to have 3 days workout followed by 1 day rest.

  3. it could be over-training. but since its only happened to you just today and not any other times... its tough to tell. You should always have one rest day a week to give your body time to recover. its hard to take the day off, but you have to cause otherwise you will run your body into the ground.
