China’s top player Chen Long maintained his winning run and easily sent Korea’s Lee Dong Keun packing in Men’s Singles clash in the final of Sudirman Cup 2013 in Malaysia, on Sunday, May 26.
The lanky Long, who did not lose any match throughout this mixed team championship, sailed smoothly in the final contest and he did not face any trouble in crushing his Korean opponent in 48 minutes.
Long employed his aggressive skills from the starting points and maintained his upper hand throughout the battle. He dictated the pace of rallies and easily bagged a comprehensive victory with a stunning margin of 21-15 and 21-10.
On the contrary, the young Korean was lacking the finishing touch in his smashes. He could not match the incredible speed of his opponent and lost the match without getting a respectable total.
In the first game, Long showed a wonderful aggression on court from the starting points and created a remarkable pressure on his inexperienced opponent.
Chinese man executed powerful smashes from the back of the court and easily set up a considerable lead on the board.
Long did not show any sign of confusion in his shot selection and he remained miles ahead on the board until the end of opening half.

Lee Dong tried to play positive badminton and he also increased his speed at net but failed to take any considerable advantage as his rival was impressive in his defensive shots.
Long sailed smoothly in the concluding half and won the second game with a completely one-sided margin of 21-10.
