  1. I can tell you how to make your own Sudoku puzzles, but how hard they are and how hard they turn out will be up to how you make them and how other people are able to solve them.

To start making your own Sudoku puzzles, you must first have a completed Sudoku puzzle to draw the solution to your puzzle from.  Once you have this, get onto the computer and download a program called "Simple Sudoku", which is a very small Sudoku puzzle program that you will use to help you make the puzzles correctly (meaning with only a single solution).

After you have Simple Sudoku downloaded, run the program and select Design and a blank screen will show up.  From here, use the completed puzzle as a guide and start filling in the numbers that you want to give the person solving the puzzles as the clues.  Make sure you input them in symmetrically so that they look better.

When you are filling in the clues that you want to give, make sure that you space them out a bit so that they aren't all in one spot :P

Also, a good amount of clues for an easy puzzle is between 30 and 35 clues.  A good amount of clues for a medium puzzle is between 25 and 29 clues and so on.  However, the number of clues does NOT determine how hard a puzzle is.  A puzzle can have 13 clues and still be really easy to solve.

To maximize the difficulty and make it much harder, you have to first finish making the puzzle and then solve it, taking note of which numbers that you filled in were easy to fill in and which clues enabled you to fill them in more easily, and take those clues out when you go back into the puzzle to redesign it.

After you finish filling in all of the clues that you want to fill in, select the start option and it will tell you how many solutions the puzzle has.  If it has more than one, click Redesign and then move around clues until you get only 1 solution.

You have now made a Sudoku Puzzle :)

    Hope this helps :)
