Suds and water staying in Whirlpool Quiet Partner...

Question

I have noticed that suds have been staying in the bottom of the dishwasher the last 3 times it was used. Yesterday, I went into the kitchen and discovered that the dishwasher was leaking suds and water. I tried to running a rinse cycle and draining and the problem continues. The unit is only a year and a half old. Is this something we can fix ourselves?
