Suebees Rat Diet?!?

I'm thinking this might sound stupid, but I have to ask anyways. I've decided to use the homemade rat diet, instead of store bought foods, but I don't completely understand the list of ingredients.

Basically, it would be great if someone who uses this diet can tell me what brands they use.

Also, I leave their food down. So, do I mix the dog food with the grain mix? Lastly, what kind of dog food do I use?

I use to suebee's rat diet but I've never seen anywhere it says dog food. I've never been able to find plain soybeans anywhere. I use to cheapest cereal there is and make sure that it doesn't have any added sugar in it.
