Sufiah Yusuf: Math Genius, Now a Hooker?

Snap back to 2000, Sufiah’s family are devout Muslims who begin each day with prayers, followed by exercise to focus the mind and body. Her elder brother Isaac was at one point the number four tennis player in the UK for his age, while her sisters Aisha, 17, and Iskander, 14, are in their second year at the University of Warwick. Her youngest sister Zuleila, aged six,is preparing to sit her A-level maths exams.

My question is, why people genius, do like that, for example destroy him self, if your have child a genius, would you want your child do the same thing?

She was abused by her family so that probably has something to do with it.

when you give child education it must be balanced religous and normal education,if not better teach the child to have faith in god

Good question. But you need to remember. Itu semua kuasa Allah. Mungkin itu caranya nak menguji hambanya. I didn't blame the mom (Halimahton). From what I heard, genius people is very sensitive. They just do whatever they like and very details on it. However, they have some 'kelemahan' which is includes relationship, love expression and more to emotional. I think Suffiah is desperate and lost because her stupid father and dumb husband. We as a Muslim or Malay community should try to help this girl, not to blame them. Trust me, doa ibu adalah yang paling mujarab. Sebelum bantu anak,bantulah ibunya dulu.
