Sugar Gliders??.. Pets?

Question

Anybody know where I can get a Sugar Glider legally in or around the area of Los Angeles? They are animals.

sorry, they are illegal.  my wife and i have two, girls, we live in la area.  got them at a petstore, a worker bred them.  look on the internets your best bet.  they aren't as illegal as farrets, meaning you won't get them taken away unless someone tells on you.  get girls because boys smell, they p**s on everything, and it smells real bad.  the internet will tell you everything.  but they are so fun.  if you get them and they are older than a couple months, the will be wild animals, know that.  good luck!

I found several for sale in my area on www.craigslist.com.  They look very neat and from what I understand thrive in pairs.  I wouldn't recommend only buying one. I have no idea about the legality of them in Los Angeles, I would call the animal control in your area, they could tell you.

i live in canada and they do sell them in pet stores here

so i don't see why you couldn't get one from a pet store there

maybe just go to a reputable pet store and ask them

you can porbably get them online, but i'm not sure how you would know if they were a reputable dealer or not
