Sugar Prince set to surge at Kempton – Maiden Stakes Preview
Sugar Prince seems to be in the most favourable position to register the maiden victory of his career when he will participate in Goffs Ready-To-run Sale April 3rd Maiden Stakes at Kempton racecourse on Tuesday, March 20.
The Tim Pitt-trained bay colt is set to run to his best for the sake of £2,264 of prize money. The Class 5 contest of 6f Standard distance will begin at 4:10 (GMT).
Sugar Prince will compete against Choice Words, Compton Prince, Cooler Climes, Hannibal Hayes, Marinus, One Last Dream, Tarquin, Willies Wonder, Yeeoow, Finesse and Invincible Beauty.
In just two outings of his career to date, Sugar Prince has marvellously exposed his high-value racing skills coupled with making himself felt in the eyes of the bookmakers.
Making his debut on January 25, 2012, the novice runner grabbed fourth position in his maiden race. He went on to accomplish runner-up rank in the next outing on February 28. He ran for both the times at Lingfield.
On the basis of these two decent performances, it is assumed that the colt will surely be able to make a big impact in today’s contest and register the first every triumph of his career.
Sugar Prince’s chances to thrive are more than 90 percent provided he manages to judge the ground condition properly.
Out of the other runners, Hannibal Hayes and Yeeoow look to be tough enough, and each of the duo is likely to do well in the race.
Hannibal Hayes elegantly clinched runner-up position in the only outing of his career on July 13, 2011. The Jeremy Noseda-trained young colt is expected to fight potentially for success in today’s race.
On the other hand, Yeeoow finished third each in a couple of consecutive races during October 2011. The trainee of Mrs K. Burke moved forward to grab sixth spot in his last outing on November 4. The bay colt is going to exhibit a decent run today.
Though the competition is going to be tough and close but Sugar Prince will be able to make his way towards victory comfortably and convincingly. Good luck to the colt.
