Sugar free red bull?

how bad is it for you? i drink a lot of it, especially recently, because i've had exams and needed the energy. i could easily drink 5 + in a day. i assume it's bad, but i was wondering how bad??

  1. Oh please don't drink that much. Just becuase it is lower in calories and sugar does not make it safe to have that much. We should not have more than 2 energy drinks per day. Even the healthy energy drink makers will suggest against having more than 2 a day.

    The real culprit for the sugar free version is the caffein. 150 mg of caffeine per serving. Once you reach 300 or more mg of caffeine a day then you start to develop problems that excess caffeine can do.

    Immediate problems with caffeine is it depletes the body of calcium, B vitamins and dehydrates us. B vitamins are essential for energy for the mind and body too.

    Don't listen to anybody else about the taurine and guarana. Taurine is neccessary for us and is in so much of our body not just the bile they will warn you about. Guarana is ok but it contains high amounts of caffeine so that is the only reason why it should be consumed in small amounts.
