Basicly I need something to do this

"On the road

[Ethernet] -> ??? -> [Wi-Fi] -> N95/iPhone or other wireless device

At home

[Wi-Fi] -> ??? -> [Ethernet] -> Xbox 360"

Now it looks like the Apple Airport Express would be ideal if my home router was an apple one but it wont bridge a belkin router. Does anyone know of a good alternative (low cost I hope) with a compact design

  1. Any wireless router (NON-adsl type) should do what you want.

    On the road, plug the ethernet into the WAN port and you'll have wifi.

    At home, it can be an access point for your existing wifi and you just plug your XBox into an ethernet port.

    I know for a fact my Buffalo router could do it.

  2. When I travelled a lot, I used a Belkin Traveller. It was about 70$ and the size of a small pack of cigarettes.

  3. The Linksys WRT300N might be what your looking for.
