  1. the Who - "5:15," "My Generation"

Radiohead - "Let Down," "The National Anthem"

Queen - "Another One Bites the Dust"

Coldplay - "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face," "Talk"

the Beatles - "Dear Prudence," "Rain"

  2. Try anything by Hendrix. Wicked bass lines overshadowed by a wicked guitar player. For something different, try some Motorhead/Hawkwind-very under rated

  3. "I wanna be adored" - Stone Roses

  4. beatles: come together ,dear prudence, hey bulldog , rain paperback writer to name but a few

  5. try some chili peppers songs

Dani California is fun to play

  6. Depends what you're into.

Superstition by Stevie wonder has a sick bass line.

Most Zeppelin songs, maybe What is and What Should Never Be; The Lemon Song; Ramble On.

Check out Umphrees McGee, their bassist plays some really simple but catchy lines.

  7. If you really want to improve on playing bass, I would suggest trying to play the Pixies. They have great bass lines and are easy enough to learn if you have an ear for it.

If the pixies aren't your thing then maybe try learning some Placebo, which would also be incredibly cool.

Bassmasta was where I was able to start learning bass and I found it a great help.

    Good luck!

  8. REM have loads of good ones...

    THE ONE I LOVE

    CUYAHOGA

    SO.CENTRAL RAIN

    DRIVE

also Rock lobster is cool on bass

  9. either for whom the bell tolls by metallica (fantastic bass l**k) or anistishia (pulling teeth (THE bass solo)

  10. yyz by rush if you want something quite hard.

  11. If you want easy difficulty, go with Nirvana, AC/DC, and Van Halen.

If you want medium difficulty, learn Metallica, Black Sabbath, or Blue Öyster Cult.

If you want hard difficulty, learn Rush, Dream Theater, or Victor Wooten.

  12. You can try to play music from Queen, like the song Another One Bites The Dust..Or maybe some AC/DC if you are looking for some hard rock..Or you can try Metallica, that would be sure to bring your bass to life!
