if you ask me i will say go for the new palio style .............the reason for saying this is that maruti uses fiats engine in desire for which they pay royalty and engine is not so refined and fiat palio also have same diesel engine as desire have and it is much more refined and in cheaper and the service is now done by tata motors for fiat so there is no service issues now the car is a very solid built and is spacious with new exteriors

I would go for the Swift Dzire as it is new, has a good engine, is quite comfortable and very important-it is a Maruti. So you definitely do not need to think about the servicing and the spares.

The Skoda is good, but then you dont have the service backup of the Maruti and is also quite noisy!!

the logan looks bland and is a no frills car, as also I cannot say anything on the services offered by M & M.
