Suggestion for ISP in pondicherry (India)!!!?

Hi i want a internet connection.. Some thing like plug and use kind of thing (without land line connection).. I am from Pondicherry, India. Please tell me about

1. all options available.

2. time taken to get connection after applying and

3. total initial cost and monthly payment (specially unlimited usage per month).

Which is best.. Land-line or plug and use connection

Lnadline works out cheaper as this has no mobility and hence is charged less. Tata indicom's plug and play is really good. Initial costs when i toook the conneciton was around 2500 for the usb device and a plan of 700 per month where the download is unlimited.

BSNL's connection is better here for the landline 256kbps connecition.
