Suggestion on being a part of AKA?

People tend to say that I'm a shy person, and it takes a minute for me to open up. I really want to be a part of Alpha Kappa Alpha because I really like what the sorority stands for and I have a lot to offer to the organization. Can anyone give me some advice as to what to do and how to let them know that I interested in becoming a part of AKA.

I'm not sure if you are seeking undergraduate or graduate entry. My best advice to you is to develop relationships with as many AKAs as possible in the chapter you are interested in seeking membership in.

It takes time and patience to join any group of substance.
