APRIL Now the clocks have gone forward,adjust curtains and blinds to let in as much natural light as possible.

o 1 recycled tin can would save enough energy to power a television for 3 hours.

o 1 recycled glass bottle would save enough energy to power a computer for 25 minutes.

o 1 recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power a 60-watt light bulb for 3 hours

You're looking for one liners aren't you?

I would look on environmental forums as well as several books from the library.

Try to organise them into groups eg- cooking, travel, heating etc so you can distribute them evenly. and sort them better.

so,

When making hot drinks, boil just enough water.

Keep pans covered to keep the heat in,

Use the oven in preference to hobs to cook efficiently.

Carry only what you need in your car boot,

Keep tyre pressures up to improve fuel economy,

If you're braking too hard - you're not driving efficiently.
