I'm currently pregnant with twins - a boy and a girl - and I'm now in the process of choosing names for them. I want French names: I am half French. I like names along the lines of:

BOYS

Aurélien

Léo

Tristan

Florent

GIRLS

Coralie

Elodie

Amelie

Aurélie

Anaïs

Any more ideas?

Thanks :)

  6. I love all of your girls names!  I knew a Cameroonian (sp?) girl named Elodie, and she was SO sweet

I'm not too wild about the accents on the boy names though.  Tristan is also pretty popular now.  There are 2 or 3 Tristans where I work, out of like 20 kids.

  12. First of all congrats on your twins, I am a mother of multiple sets of twins. I love all of our names they are great. Really good job.

I love the name Michele , how about Tristan Michele (Michele as in Michael not Michelle). Leo is also a great name, but it has fewer nick-name potentials.

And for a girl how about Marie Anais, or Claire Anais... Claire is a pretty wonderful name if I do say so myself. I would say Marie Claire, but that would e a magazine even though it is a pretty name. Amelie is a beautiful name as well.

French is wonderful. I am fluent in it, and lived in Provance for three years. But you might want to diversify the names a wee bit . For example, Tristan Alexander, or Amelie Grace.

I wish you so much luck with your children, and endless happiness .

  13. Girl:

    Laure

    Alice

    Emilie

    Laetitia

    Boy:

    Hugue (pronounced oog...jk)

    Hervé

    Phillipe

    Alexandre

I like all the names except for Elodie, but that's because I new a really mean girl named Elodie, so it kind of spoiled the name for me.

  14. I like Pierre & Jacqueline.

  15. I like Tristan and Amelie.

  16. Names I like for girls:

    Geneviève or Joséphine

    Names I like for Boys:
