Suggestions for a camera?

i just wanted to know if you guys have any suggestions for me on which models to buy. i want a good quality camera for a good price, not the cheap kind but not so expensive either. a smaller camera would be better so i can just carry it around i guess. thanks!

Good price, not cheap, not so expensive are relative. Exactly how much are you talking about?

A good quality camera P&S, I would suggest the Olympus SW 850 about $270 and up.

It's shockproof (within limits of course) and waterproof. For about $100 more than regular P&S digital camera, it has a better chance of surviving as the common problem/accident of other digital cameras that usually have.
