Suggestions for a picnic spot near salt lake city?

what im looking for is a stream with picnic tables and must be dog friendly...no leash laws.. thanks for any suggestions..

sorry i cant help you with salt lake city,  but i know  a place were theres a beautiful stream . its up in bear mo New York State.  you would love there, it has  a big rock right in the center of the stream where you and a special someone can have a very romantic picnic. oh and its dog friendly, just what your looking for.
