This may sound childish, but could be SO much fun:  a night at the skating rink!  But, you might want to do it during the week, so it isn't too crowded:)

I would say a night out on the town, definetly have some alcohol, the world certainly would not be  any fun with out it

if its in the summer , do a fun beach theme. invite close friends and family and enjoy a day at the beach! have lots of food and relax by the water! if its near fall or winter, have a party at a ski lodge and have a week end of snow! but try to keep a  party with close friend and family and enjoy the day!!

Make it a Black and White Party.  Everyone must wear Black and White.  The cake can be dark chocolate with white icing. The napkins, plates and cups can be too.

Karaoke night!  THere are places where you can rent private rrooms which aren't overpriced if everyone chips in.  I've done that before and people really like it.  The people who don't want to sing will still have fun watching the singers embarass themselves and those who do sing will have fun belting out their favourite songs.

Have a poker party. Go to your local party or even store and buy those dealer hats, some fresh decks of cards, and chips.  It could be a "theme" party. Go vegas with it.

I would say that you and your girlfriends go to a spa somewhere and pamper yourself. If you wanted to have a boy/girl party have a big cookout/bonfire. They are always fun!
