  1. dress up,outside show and name animals to her, and for a snack feed her apple

  2. Three years old is a great age.  They have an active and enthusiastic personality.  If she's not in pre-school like head-start etc., you may want to sign her up for 2-3 days a week. Many activities they enjoy at this age.  Perhaps doing physical activities with her, walking, running, park, etc. Definitely a reading session, I can't emphasize this enough. Not only at night time before bed but during the day.  Make play time an adventure and fun.  Let her artistic skills develop along with her imagination.  Have a set time where you take her to the park for physical activity as well.

    Rosanne :-)

  3. Well for a three year old child you can do many things which need to kep them busy. Try incorporate learning as this will help your child develop faster mentally. Outdoor activities such as playing at the park, or simply buying a small inflatable pool and playing in the water are good and fun. If you wouuld like a nice science experiment you can order little caterpillers and watch them become into cocoons and the butterfies right before your eyes. Your child will learn and enjoy the new animal. Snack time.....well it all depends on what oyu want your child to eat. Fruits are great snacks something like an apple with peanut butter is delicious. crackers and cheese are also good and you can add some ham or turkey..these are healthy nutrious snacks. I hope this has helped!

  4. Huge amounts of stuff to do here. Music and movement can just be anything that makes a noise, like tapping your knees, stamping feet, tapping wooden spoons together, shaking an old coffee jar full of pasta or rice. Anything. Mathematical development can be sand or water, to cover things like exploring properties (pouring, filling space, overflowing, wet and dry, sandcastles), capacity, measuring (counting spadeful's or scoopful's) matching things around the house that are pairs or threes, talking about the circle on the washing machine or the rectangle window. At this age there isn't really a separate sub-heading for science, but looking at properties of materials and how things change, like cooking (great maths opportunities there too) are all really helpful. Home corner stuff is good if you don't make it too stereotypical, and if you change what happens, why not play flower shops next time you buy some plants for the garden? Or buy some penny stamps and envelopes for a post office?

Also, young children need lots of starchy food as snacks to keep them going, and rich dairy, oily fish etc so white bread and butter, tuna crackers, yogurt or milkshakes are good, but remember that milk isn't a drink, so water or weak fruit juice are good too. Circle time can just be time to sit and talk, play co-operative games like passing a toy around and having a story and talking about what happened afterwards, trying to remember what order everything happened. All of the stuff you do indoors can be done outdoors as well, even if the weather is bad, like counting jumps in puddles, berry picking, garden centre play, making a picnic, singing songs, making noises with sticks or gravel, mud pies, planting and gardening, riding bikes, or looking at bugs, insect, frogs, snails, butterflies, birds... huge amounts!

Sorry, prattled on a bit. Hope you enjoy!

  5. for music n movement, u can play a children song for them and ask them to dance. u can be a leader n ask them to follow u how to dance. for mathematics, u take sweets and give to them for calculate. u can ask them to do calculation such as numbers or do some simple calculation like additon, substraction. for snack time, u can give them food that is suitable for their age. ask them to eat among their friends. for science, u can show them various picture of flowers and introduce them to the kinds of flowers

  6. take a empty container example oatmeal box, 2 small sticks and you have a drum, to make different sounds add things you can find outdoors.

mathematics let the count out snack items, example m&m's

science make homemade play dough together

  7. Outdoor activities, digging, climbing, jumping, swinging, running, chalk, painting with water and a paint brush and bucket, building "volcanoes" or "castles" or "cakes" follow the leader, Music and Movement....so many, and children's cd to be played in the background while doing other activities, indoors or out, dancing, simon says, music with interaction, story cd's, Math, counting, sorting, stacking, Science, sink/float, small, medium, large size objects, coloring or painting, with two differnt colors to make a new color, Dramatic play, an area where the child can put on "costumes" play with pretend food, puppet play, character play, Snack time, you can talk about the food you eat at snack, what colors, how many pieces, Circle time, days of the week, months of the year, the alphabet and things that start with the letter of the week, teach about certain topics, whatever you do have fun with it and remember she's only 3....
