Suggestions for cheap, newer car?

Hopefully under 10 grand.

I've got a Chrysler Crossfire now but I'm starting college and was told today it would cost 400 dollars just to change the 20 different spark plugs in it. YEAH! So I need something reliable and a heck of a lot cheaper!

Thanks for suggestions.

  1. Acura Integra

    Mazda Miata

btw V6 with two spark plugs per cylinder = 12

don't go back to whoever wants to charge you $400 to change them.

the Acura & the Mazda are less expensive to own and maintain but still have that quality and sporty feel your currently enjoying.

but do check with your insurance co, some are charging inflated rates due the Acuras increased popularity with "tuners" they are being wrecked and stolen more often.

  2. Hello,

I would suggest that you check out any nissan, suzuki, toyota, or honda vehicle as they are reliable mechanically, get great gas mileage, and are genreally pretty trendy as far as looks go. 10k won't get you any of the above honestly. Only new cars that will get you are unreliable South Korean lemons like Kias and Hyundais.

    Hope i helped,

  3. Honda, Toyota, VW.

  4. Hyundai Elantra.. cheap, basic, and get pretty good gas mileage. You should definitely check it out

  5. any japenese car

I personaly would reccomend the nissan altima or sentra or a toyota corolla.

buying a american domestic  car is begging for trouble and for me the shame of being caught in a domestic car is too much.
