Suggestions for getting lotion out of carpet?

Haha.. my sweet little girl had a good time with the bottle of lotion while I was out of the room... We now have a very soft carpet! LOL.. I tried wiping as much out with a rag as possible.. any suggestions to get the rest out?

I do have a steam cleaner, but was afraid that might make it worse (spread it around..) LOL.. :)

I like Lulu's answer...only....I better be there to watch.  For support.  LOL  :)  What can I say other than I'm a Supervisor by profession.....or is it just the view of you on your hands and knees?

Buy some Prosolve carpet spot cleaner then use your steam cleaner.
