  1. Separately these disabilities require interventions different from one another.  Combined, this disability would require interventions different from others.   Could you provide more detailed information about the student(s)?  

    Kauffman and Hallahan books are certainly worth reading. In the past they have not been advocates of full inclusion as practiced by some schools, so they may not speak to the question.   Regardless, their books and articles are worth reading.


  2. patience? understanding? treat them like a regular child though be more considerate about requirements....

    know more about their disability and the special needs they require...what they can and cannot do...what materials can be used to help them better grasp the concepts being learned....

    need a book? many of my professors in SPED recommend us to read "Exceptional Learners" by Kauffman and Hallahan as our reference....
