  1. Drum cafe!

Without a doubt one of the most entertaining, fun and unifying methods of team building.

They cater for all size groups and can go to your premises as well.

This is another home made South Africa business success story, so successful in fact that they are now franchised all over the world.

  2. Drums

5 star rated for our company.

The best fun and team building.

  3. I work at a conference center and our clients book the drumming sessions from Drum Cafe quite often.

But I think paintball is a great idea.

  4. At the firm where my daughter worked, they had a cooking evening. Everyone had to help make prepare the food, serve the food and drinks.

We just had a huge order for 1500 salads.  And it was such a rush to do it, in the end we had about 15 of the staff helping us, and everyone had so much fun. The next day people who had not known each other before, were greeting each other like friends.  We felt like a family, because TOGETHER we had managed to get the order ready on time.

  5. Go-cart racing or paintbal !

  6. Go cart racing or extreme driving courses also seem to go down well. Keep it to one day, ending earlier than a work day (like 2/3pm) so that they can get home early to their families.

  7. Camping's always great... but our okes here think going to a day spa can be deemed as team building.

  8. Team building events are cool , we also did a survivor thingie - we got free lunch and dops ant Wandi,s in Soweto..

Ours was organised by an events company :

  9. had a team building where we played games based on amazing race, survivor and fear factor theme. it was a lot of fun, but was disappointed when we didn't get any prizes at all. :(

But it was fun nonetheless .

Or have a pool party and  tequila.

  10. Paintball. Allows you to shoot the s*** out of somebody in order to take out your frustration you've built up.

I've been on a team building weekend for three days. It was a survivor style. Only allowed one bag with the bare essentials. Water was cold and all food ate had to be made on your own.

Initially I was like "no was". But after the 3 days ended, all dirty and my hair in state, I marveled at what I could actually do. . .

  11. Beerfest!

  12. Why don't your try an outdoors thing.. Like Quad Biking.. Target shooting.. Game driving.. something away from the huslte and the buslte of the City..

  13. A bundu-bash always forces people to work together. Try hiking or abseiling.

  14. there is the old color grouping ..where different traits group you in colors ...it is funny and surprisingly accurate

  15. Paintball!!!

We had that once - it was a perfect opportunity to take a shot at management.

Management got hit soooo bad, even by their own team mates.

    It was lovely stuff!!!!!!

  16. "Spin the bottle" - is loads of fun!!!

  17. Try this - looks too strenous for my liking but could be fun.
