Suggestions for what color walls i shud have?

Im going to paint my room its small so i wanted an idea of wat colors or designs and all i shud have

i was thinking purple or blue but idk what shades and if itd look too kiddish

im 16 btw

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a pale pale blue like "snowdrop" (# 6511) and a purple like "alaea" (# 7579) would look great & not childish at all. You could paint just one wall alaea, or another great idea would be to paint a big horizontal stripe all around the middle of your room. Sort of like this:

What about a warm chocolate brown? I think the browns look sophisticated, and you can choose many colours to go with them.

hey! i saw a very small kitchen painted entirely a charcoal black and it looked awesome. but they painted everything, the walls, the ceiling, the the trim, door, so the dark color actually recedes from the eyes and makes it look bigger. just remember if you do dark gray or black, get interior flat enamel, as opposed to satin or hgh gloss, or it'll look cheesy instead of high design. i also saw a small office painted indigo (a very dark bluish purple) with glitter mixed in the paint, and some small spot lights on a track above and it looked so pretty, like nighttime in a fairy tale world. hope this helps!
