Suggestions on a starting guitar?

i want to get an electric guitar to learn to play i plan to get a cheap one and then get a more expensive one when i get better i only have about 250 $ i want to spend and i found this http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-Les-Paul-Special-II-Player-Pack-102328770-i1150103.gc is that good to start on?

Get An Acoustic 1st. Make sure you really master all the basic chords and more, learn how to pluck,strum etc etc sing along with strum, then you go for eletric guitar.Make sure you can get into those level before get an electric which cost 250$.

no, do NOT start on an electric, get an, acoustic . I would suggest this, because it's cheap, the price is, and this is awesome, i know the price is only 79.99, but PLEASE listen to me...

Epiphone would be a good choice.  That's a better choice than the squier starter pack if you ask me.

yea that pack is pretty good altho i dont recomend entry level epiphones

i really like the les paul style tho

if you want the best bang for your buck get an ibanez

their guitars sound and feel hundreds of dollars more expensive than they are

they are really fantastic

the only bad thing about them is their style :(

i never liked the way they look but you might!

im a big lespaul fan but entry level epiphones have a good chance of just lacking

you can trust ibanez

if you are serious on guitar tho i would eather start on acoustic or buy an acoustic also tho,

they are great because they make you really have to concentrate on your playing and they strengthen your fingers

i took my guitar teachers advice and started on keyboard which helped me understand the way music and its theory worked.

then went to acustic

i have only played ellectric for about 2 years but the accustic and keyboard really helped!
