Suggestions on getting cheapest flights?

I'm trying to find the cheapest way to fly in December. (20th-30th). Any suggestions?

book early and book directly on airlines web.

book a month before. check on the websites of online travel agencies like expedia.com,travelocity.com,priceline.co... and you can also check on the sites of the airlines. but of course read the restrictions first before punching in your credit card number! coz cheap tickets are usually non-refundable. and the reissue fee, would cost you a fortune if you want it changed. good luck!

better book now. it's the busy time of year and all flights are pretty costly
