Suggestions on how to be a good mom. Please Answer. ?

My Husband and i are trying to have a baby and i want to make sure i will be a good mom. i know nothing at all about being a mom. what should i do to make sure i will be a good mommy.

  1. you will learn as you go along belive me, and it is always handy to have a book about babies too when you need a bit more information on something plus you always have here for you questions.all babies need is feeding,changing,bathing and plenty of love and attention.youll be fine try to get to know some other moms too like at a baby group its nice to chat with other mums


  2. Knowing you know nothing is a really good start :)

    I'm not joking - the best mums keep on making sure they're doing the right things, instead of assuming they are.

  3. Honestly you can do all the preparing in the world but when that baby comes, trust me you will know what to do! I had my first baby at age 18 graduated and everything and me and my fiancee are still together and have been for 6 years and now we have 2 babies. but to make a long story short, I didnt kno what to do either because my mom moved away to virginia when i was inthe 10th grade and she wasnt here the first week i had my baby so i thought i was going to be lost. But when i brought my baby home it seemed like i had done it before!! As long as you have help from your husband and someone to let you get sleep after you have the baby(you're gonna need it!!) then you will be just fine. Good luck to yall!!

  4. No one is a good mommy at first. You have to learn your baby's cries. You will be able to key into every whine and whipper that little baby makes. Good mothering comes with time and practice. Just love and care for the little guy all you can and that is what a good mom is all about

  5. you cant define it! everyones opinion is different some people think discipline is a good thing some people think being friends with their child is best everyone has different goals and opinions but the fact that you want to be a good mummy shows you care and that's a great start, good luck enjoy trying LOL
