Suggestions on running for (and becoming) Home Owner Association President.?

We hate our HOA. So, have you heard the saying: "If you can't bet 'em ..."

What are some suggestions on running for (and being elected for!) the President position on an HOA board?

so you want to be the king, huh?  you will regret it as the dumbest thing you ever thought of doing.  my advice:  move.  there is not one hoa in the world worth living in.

Well Iwould say this is a process, locally in newsprint address the issues have solutions don't just complain then you come accross as just irate, once you have your name in print attend meetings within the community you target voice then those opinions and be prepared for rebuttle but thats O.K. you take home the respect of those who won't speak up .

lastly over time "Things I must Earn" apply for the position at this point you will have erned and be forwarded to the position you desire.
