Try Dover Saddlery or StateLine Tack. . . they have lots of tack and girths. . . Professional's choice also works very well; very stretchy and comfortable :)

    Good luck!

  2. i tried putting a leather girth on my horse and he DID NOT  like that. he started biting and even since we switched his girth he has not stopped. now that is just my horse, but i would reccommend something with padding or something fuzzy. they seem to like those more

  3. When i bought a new girth for my horse i made the mistake of getting one that wasn't very soft and so it started to rub him so i've now put a sheepskin sleeve on it. I'd go for either a soft good quality leather from jeffries, wintec or bates etc or a fabric girth from cottage craft these will be less likely to cause your horse discomfort even if he/she doesn't have sensitive skin.

    hope this helps. x

  5. any brand will work fine it just depends on how much money you want to spend..and make sure it fits right and is comfy to the horse

  6. Here's the link to the Stubben site.  I have to say that my old girth that came with my Siegfried Stubben and will be 40 years old next year is finally showing a bit of age.  So I guess the money's well spent.

  7. i recomend wintec for girths but the make of your saddle may do girths to suit that saddle
