Suggestions to look like a boy for Halloween?

My friend and I want to dress up as half boy/half girl for Halloween, with the left half of our bodies as a boy, and the right half as a boy. We're cutting the outfits directly down the middle, and then we are going to sew the boy clothes to the girl clothes. We have the girl side down pat, seeings as how we are girls. Frilly skirt, cardigan, curly hair, necklace, kitten heels, the works. We're just unsure of what to do, especially make-up wise, to make us look manly. Also, neither of us has very long hair; just short of shoulder length. Any suggestions, or even photos would be greatly appreciated :)

Makeup wise: You might try penciling in your eyebrows a bit darker on the boy side, and making a small mustache or five o clock shadow with some eyeliner.

Hair: Maybe you could cut a baseball cap in half and attach a girly headband to the opposite side? That way you'd be able to tuck your hair into the hat for the guy side, but you'd be able to keep your hair down for the girl side.

Clothing: Just a guy's t-shirt, cargo shorts, and an athletic shoe for the guy side. Guys are really simple dressers. Also, cargo shorts would probably be a better idea instead of jeans, because they'd be less heavy and wouldn't drag the fabric of the skirt down due to weight.

get one of those halloween make up kits and draw half a mustache and or beard, make that one eyebrow thicker and wear that side of ur hair slicked back with gel or in a ponytail.
