Suica card?

Question

I live in Japan so yeah, i find myself riding the train quite a lot even thought im younger..

i travel to my grandma's house a lot, which is quite a whiles away.. and my mom+me are intrested in getting a suica card.. :)

I always ride JR east.!

Anywho, suica ima get the one that is not with a credit card..

But yeah, can i buy it from the machine or do i have to get it at the counter? its 2000 yen right?

you can purchase the suica card at the machine. the machine that you buy suica cards from is colored differently from the other ones. (green with the little penguin on it).
